August 24, 2022Florida Democrat gubernatorial candidate Charlie Crist just emphatically announced to Floridians, “I. Don’t. Want. Your. Vote.”
It’s a weird campaign tactic, to be sure. But then again, it’s Charlie Crist we’re talking about. Answering a question about support for current Florida Governor Ron DeSantis, he says that “those who support the governor should stay with him and vote for him.” And there’s a whole heck of a lot of Floridians who currently support Governor Ron DeSantis.
It’s an unusal tactic considering the popularity of DeSantis, whom Crist will face in the midterm election. He has a lot of support– not just in Florida, but in the whole country. So it’s weird to just tell everyone to go ahead and vote for your opponent. He’s apparently not even going to try to convince voters to vote for him.
But hey, I’m not complaining. I hope the people take him at his word– which, knowing Crist, could change next week. Bottom line, don’t vote for a man who doesn’t even want your vote.

I don’t think Crist has quite learned the liberal tactics of ad hominem attacks even though he’s been a raving lunatic liberal for the past 10 years (officially anyway). Not a great way to win over undecided voters who might have been leaning toward DeSantis but could be persuaded to vote left. Although he has nothing to worry about where Democrats are concerned. They’d vote for Satan himself as long as he ran on the Democratic ticket.
That chump — and any other Democrat, wouldn’t get my vote anyhow if I lived in Florida! Go Ron Santis, you’re the man!
My dream team is Trump/DeSantis 2024, then DeSantis/Noem for two terms followed by Noem/? for two terms. Trump should let DeSantis run the government while he focuses on the elimination of the swamp. Whole departments should be fired. Responsibilities returned to the states. We have way too many hogs at the trough, and I don’t care if they are wearing lipstick.
