August 25, 2022Well, Biden’s failed border policies strike again.
This week, the New York Post reported, “Two migrant children have drowned while trying to cross the Rio Grande into the US and a third — a boy who’s just 2 months old — was fighting for his life.”
Apparently this time of year the Rio Grande is even more dangerous than usual, and those consequences are being felt as illegal immigrants decide to chance the current in hopes of entering the U.S.
I can’t even imagine how the rescuers felt pulling children out of that river. It’s horrible and never should have happened. But when you make the border a free-for-all, these things DO HAPPEN. And it needs to stop—for the sake of those children lost and the future children who will inevitably be injured or die because our government refuses to protect our borders.
Lax borders encourage immigrants to take these sorts of risks, and the data reflects this.
There have already been 609 migrant deaths this year during border crossings, as reported by the Washington Examiner, “with more bodies recovered over the past nine months than any full year in recorded history.”
But Kamala so brilliantly stated, “Do not come. Do not come.” Or something like that. . . so it should all be under control here shortly. Thanks, Kamala.
I’m all for legal immigration—the more the merrier as far as I’m concerned. But this is not the way. The cost is much too high, especially when kids are involved.

When you have the ability to spin the negative side effects away then the cost becomes irrelevant.
If you can manage to spin them as something your opponent has done then they become a boon.
Rewarding bad behaviors makes for good politics as a majority of people don’t think about consequences beyond one or two steps and tend to just listen to what they are told is happening favoring the first bit of information that they receive.
But, they will continue to tell you their open border policy is to help poor families, especially the children. They really don’t care as they hold life in so little regard, which is why support unfettered abortion, Covid patients put into nursing homes, the death shots, and possibly food shortages.
As long as this administration supports abortion, you will never convince me they do not think babies drowning in the Rio Grand River is not an acceptable cost to implement their goals. You know, the ends justify the means.
