Anthony Weiner’s Lawyers Claim The Underage Girl At The Center Of The Sexting Scandal Was Trying To ‘Influence The U.S. Presidential Election’

Supreme Scumbag Anthony Weiner will be sentenced for his sexting scandal Sept. 25. In the meantime, he’s begging for mercy.

In a letter to the judge, he wrote, “I am 345 days off my destructive behaviors and have a daily practice to help me never return to them.”

The fact that he needs to perform a consistent, daily practice in order to NOT sext 15-year-old girls is problematic.

He also swears he’ll one day tell his son the story of his scumbag behavior.

“I’ll tell him I was a guy who did a very bad thing to a young person I never met. I’ll tell him I put his amazing mother through years of trauma and broke her heart,” he wrote.

Aren’t you touched? I’m not. Because my heart is BLACK.

Meanwhile, Weiner’s lawyers are working every angle possible. They describe Weiner’s behavior as “inexcusable” but claim his actions were just a result of a “weak man at the bottom of a self-destructive spiral.”

He responded “with an addict’s self-serving delusion that the communications were all just internet fantasy — willfully ignoring that there was a young person at the other end of the connection, hundreds of miles away, who could be damaged by these exchanges through the ether,” his lawyers wrote in court filings.

I’m playing the world’s tiniest violin right now.

No one feels bad for Weiner. I hope they know that. And these lame a$$ excuses aren’t helping garner sympathy.

According to that sourcelink, Weiner’s lawyers claim the 15-year-old girl was attempting to “influence the U.S. presidential election.”

In other words, his lawyers are connecting Weiner’s inability to not take pictures of his junk and not send inappropriate messages to underage girls to…Trump.

But according to his attorneys, Weiner was set up. The girl at the center of the controversy was seeking “somehow to influence the U.S. presidential election, in addition to securing personal profit,” his lawyers argue, and the girl is now seeking a book deal related to her experience. His lawyers did not argue that this justified Weiner’s behavior.

Well, THAT’S a relief.

If it doesn’t justify his behavior, then I don’t see why it’s relevant. She was a stupid, underage girl. Weiner is a HIGH PROFILE GROWN MARRIED MAN WHO HAS A SON. His behavior is inexcusable.

A report published in May in WhoWhatWhy seemingly confirmed that the girl was hoping to swing the election in favor of President Trump. Weiner is married to Huma Abedin, longtime aide and confidant to Hillary Clinton. They are currently in the midst of divorce proceedings.

I should’ve known they would attempt to connect this to Trump somehow. Bravo, guys. It’s impressive. Truly.
