Leonardo DiCaprio cares about the environment. Deeply. Way more than you. In fact, his devotion to the environment actually landed him a reward, and he flew 8,000 miles on his private jet to accept it. How many emissions did he give off? We’re not supposed to ask. He made up for it by planting trees, OK? You just shut up and ride your bike. And don’t let the water run while you’re brushing your teeth, while you’re at it.
Predictably, DiCaprio responded to Trump pulling the US out of the Paris Climate Agreement.
Today, our planet suffered. It’s more important than ever to take action. #ParisAgreement https://t.co/FSVYRDcGUH

Take action by supporting these organizations on the front lines of this fight: @IndivisibleTeam @StandUpAmerica @NRDC #ParisAgreement

Needless to say, a lot of people had a difficult time taking Mr. Private Jet seriously.
As you fly someone in to do your eyebrows….are you really worried about protecting the planet. Stick to making movies.

Are you gonna “take action” by not flying your celebrity friends 6,000 miles from LA to France to hear your speech about “global warming”.
— Paul Joseph Watson (@PrisonPlanet) June 2, 2017
And your plans to reduce your carbon footprint?

As you fly around in your private jets. Sit down

He flys all over the world in plane. He’s vacations on multi million dollar yachts and he’s got the nerve to preach about climate change

Your carbon footprint is infinitely larger than mine. Remove the plank from your own eye before lecturing me about my sty.#ParisAgreement

Leo, get back on your jet, fly to some warm climate hop on your yacht, have a shot of alcohol… u r sodisingenuous, that or stupid

Hey Leo, keep on taking your 8,000 mile trips in your private jet while you lecture us on climate change ! pic.twitter.com/Fiovg85pTs

Do as I say, not as I do.

The day you stop using a private jet to fly around the world telling us ‘carbon is bad, mmmkay’ is the day I give you a shred of credibility
— Jen (@demongrrl51) June 2, 2017
When you sell your yacht, downsize to a NORMAL home, & stop flying around for trivial BS, then we’ll talk, until then NO credibility.

He says, flying in his private jet from estate to estate.
— Steve Link (@Super__Link) June 2, 2017
If you didn’t fly on private jets and gallivant around on yachts, people would take you more seriously.
— Rep. Steven Smith (@RepStevenSmith) June 1, 2017
Quick question, how many normal people have to give up fossil fuels so you can zoom around the world in 1 of these? pic.twitter.com/XqK9yknW2Y

Let us know when you stop flying in whole sea bass and supermodels for parties on oil tycoons’ yachts.

If you need me, I’ll be over here. Waiting for good ol’ Leo to announce his plans to join the tiny house movement.
