May 10, 2017The White House press briefing is expected to begin around 1:30 p.m. ET, and with James Comey’s termination, it’s sure to be interesting– contentious, even. You never really know. It’s especially hard to predict today, because Sean Spicer won’t be doing the briefing. White House deputy press secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders will be filling in.
Apparently, Spicer is on U.S. Navy Reserve duty this week.

It’s a lot of pressure. I mean, this is the first press briefing following the firing of the FBI Director. However, Sarah Huckabee Sanders has already made it clear that Comey’s firing has absolutely nothing to do with the Russian probe. But you know reporters are going to press her anyway.
