The Left Is Whining About Tucker’s Lopsided Coverage Of J6 Footage. Here’s What They Don’t Understand.

The other day, Tucker Carlson dropped a bunch of clips of footage from January 6th that basically broke the official narrative of what went on that day. It shows numerous police officers escorting the shirtless QAnon Shaman around the Capitol and even trying to open doors for him. It shows Officer Brian Sicknick alive and well and walking around the Capitol in a police helmet after the Mainstream Media insists that he was murdered by rioters bashing him in the head. It shows Ray Epps in the building after the time when he testified to Congress that he had left the buildling, proving that he lied to Congress. It’s honestly pretty benign and boring stuff that is basically just the rest of the story. It’s not all that exciting, and it’s certainly not violent. And the Left is outraged that Tucker is supposedly downplaying the violent J6 insurrection that was as bad as Pearl Harbor and 9/11 combined by only showing these peaceful videos dismiss all the violent videos.

Here’s the thing they don’t understand–the Leftist Mainstream Media has shown ALL OF THAT FOOTAGE FOR YEARS. They’ve made SURE that Americans have seen every possible minute of violence to bolster their narrative of what happened that day. So why would Tucker waste his limited time showing footage that has already been thoroughly covered when there’s plenty of content that HASN’T been covered that NEEDS to be covered? It’s less that he doesn’t want to show the violent footage (which is probably also true), rather it’s that that footage doesn’t need to be covered any more than it already has been. And that happens across the board with conservative media. Take my own posts, for example. There are a LOT of stories I DON’T cover, not because I think they don’t matter, but because the Leftist Mainstream Media is doing a very thorough and often lopsided job covering those stories. I focus on the stuff the Leftist Mainstream Media DOESN’T spend time covering. The stuff that’s out there but that people might not be seeing because the MSM is covering stuff THEY care about. Why would I write articles praising Biden’s accomplishments when the MSM is all over that? My time is better spent writing about Biden’s failures because the MSM ISN’T covering those, and they need to be covered.
