November 9, 2022I know the headline just sounds like a catty way of talking about AOC in this age of middle school-esque insults and a fundamental misappropriation of the word “literal(ly).” But this is 2022, so it’s actually 100% real, because why the hell wouldn’t it be.
John Fetterman won his bid for the U.S. Senate in Pennsylvania, eking out a victory over Mehmet Oz. (Side note, did ANY of us know Dr. Oz’s first name before this campaign?)
Let me repeat that.
The TV doctor with a stupid made up name lost a campaign for political office to a man with stroke-induced brain damage and a semi-sentient lump on his neck. WHAT EVEN IS 2022, YOU GUYS.
Fact Check: No, Fetterman’s neck lipoma being sentient isn’t real. My parody twitter account for it sure is, though.
I’m simultaneously dismayed and thrilled by this news. For one, I really don’t take any joy from watching a clearly disabled man try to complete a task he’s just not equipped to do (unless it’s Joe Biden, because he’s a giant POS and it’s nicer to laugh at the world crumbling around us than to feel the acute despair). On the other hand, the next six years will be one hell of a show, and I’m not perfect.
Who even needs Real Housewives when the U.S. federal government exists? And will someone please edit the opening credits of Real Housewives to feature the best brightest most entertaining politicians?

As a Pennsylvanian I have to say that it is a real shame- The Commonwealth of PA has elected a deceased lawmaker, passed up on a good candidate for governor only due to his stance on abortion, and elected Fetterman, again- mainly on the subject of abortion. Of Oz and Mastriano- I heard no objections to them except for their stance on abortion. So an election was decided so that people can go on committing murder? Honestly though, it was the voters in the 2 far ends of the state- Allegheny County and the Philadelphia area that did the electing.
Here is a theory. Fetterman was used for the sympathy vote against a weak Oz. Since the governor is a democrat, Fetterman can step down and a governor can appoint a interim senator to either a special election or the next election.
Dr. Oz was a weak and very poor candidate. People saw through his nonsense and unfortunately as many put it, voted for the lesser of two evils.
Republicans need to take stock and see that many of the candidates who lost down ballot elections were 2020 election deniers. Elections that could have easily been won were lost because of the nonsensical belief that Trump actually won. Which is to say, the Republicans lost badly last night and have Donald Trump and his election deniers to blame.
Honest question: Do Amish people vote? I’ve been wondering if that makes a difference in Pennsylvania.
I don’t understand why “Oz” even ran. I don’t think he was a strong candidate for that area and he sure didn’t fight very hard against Fetterman. Though I have no doubt there was cheating going on in PA (especially in the big cities), was it enough to give Fetterman the win or are the citizens there dumb enough to elect someone who doesn’t have the mental capacity to serve.
We don’t know that. All we know is he has problems getting the thoughts in or out verbally.

Sure we do, he’s a Democrat. They are not exactly known for their intelligence and reasoning skills with or without brain damage.
Living in a state rife with voter fraud in Democrat run districts (Wisconsin), it pains me to see states like Pennsylvania probably falling prey to the same cheating tactics. It just shows how evil the left is when they run mentally incompetent candidates like Biden and Fetterman and drag them across the finish line just to retain their power.
I doubt there was any “cheating”. Pennsylvania, like so many other “purple” or “blue” states, is mostly “red” but with a dominating large city.
Plus, Oz was a very weak candidate (thanks, Trump). I don’t know what Pennsylvanians were thinking with that primary vote.
Oz was a long shot, that people were hopeful about, but nobody should be surprised that he lost.
