November 4, 2022Earlier this week, Biden proved he has no idea what century and decade it is when he said, “In the 20th cent- 21st century, going into the 20s, from the 20th century going into the second quarter of the 21st century… going into 20, 30, 40, 50.” And today he proved he also doesn’t know what millennia it is. He’s literally off by A THOUSAND YEARS. Here, the President of the United States claims that General Motors, one of the country’s largest vehicle manufacturing companies, has promised to go “all electric by 3035.” I’d say a thousand years should be sufficient for them to be able to go all electric.
The truth is, of course, that GM plans to “completely phase out vehicles using internal combustion engines by 2035,” according to Chairman and Chef Executive Officer Mary Barra. An honest mistake, right? He’s just off by a thousand years, which is really no big deal… Sometimes he’s off by a million or a billion or a couple hundred billion when he’s talking about his administration’s spending, and sometimes he’s off by a thousand years when talking about his green energy agenda. But we’re all supposed to just listen to what he probably meant to say rather than what he actually says.

Yes, by 3035, I have no doubt that we will have the technology to have all-electric vehicles that can actually do the jobs we need them to do. Of course, those will probably be the flying cars they have been promising us for the last 100 years. And we will probably have much better technology by then too.
But we are nowhere near close to having the technology to make practical electric cars, and we certainly still won’t have it by 2035.
So you stick to that 3035 timeline, and we all win!!!
