Elon Musk Clarifies The Twitter Deal Being “On Hold.”

If you missed our livestream this morning, you missed us talking about the breaking news from overnight that Elon Musk announced his deal to take over Twitter was “on hold” pending further details about the percentage of spam/bot accounts representing Twitter users.

There was panic.

I’m not sure Elon Musk realizes how much people hang on every word he tweets, and if he isn’t completely specific about what he means, speculation gets out of control.  Or maybe he DOES realize it, and just enjoys it a lot.

ANYWAY, he released a tweet around an hour ago to clarify.

Ok.  Everyone breathe.  It sounds like it’s still his plan, but he has questions.  Maybe he’s trying to get a better deal.  Who knows.  But that’s the update.
