Media Hypocrites Promoting “Horse Meds” For DIY Abortions

Whoa, hold your horses. After a massive disinformation campaign discrediting “horse medication,” VICE is literally promoting “horse medication.” They’re all hypocrites. What’s new?

Just months ago, the country was blatantly lied to when the media and “experts” insisted that Ivermectin simply COULD NOT be a possible treatment for COVID because it is dangerous to use a human medication because it also happens to be used in horses. Despite the fact that it has actually won Nobel prizes for human uses, is among the safest and most widely used human drugs globally for numerous medical issues, and showed positive COVID results in numerous countries. (Same is true of Aspirin, Amoxicillin, Azithromycin, and many others. All common, cheap, effective human drugs that are all used for animals as well.) VICE was actually one of the most vocally disdainful of Ivermectin in this blatant disinformation campaign. They said Joe Rogan was “shilling” for Ivermectin and that Facebook users discussing Ivermectin were “unhinged and out of control.”

Y’all, this is a Nobel Prize-winning, globally renowned, decades-studied, extremely cheap, easily accessible medication that even showed some potential benefits in many poorer countries around the world, which also happens to be used for horses. How many people could have benefited from Ivermectin had the media, like VICE, and their cited “experts” not devoted considerable time and energy to discrediting potentially viable and statistically safe treatment option?

But they’re all hypocrites. We already knew this, but they just keep proving it to us. Now, they’re literally PROMOTING a medication called misoprostol, which is also used to treat ulcers in horses, because THIS “horse medication” fits their narrative. This one can evidently induce abortions, which they apparently want you to know about in case Roe v Wade is overturned and you have to kill your own baby. They wrote a whole article called “Anarchist Collective Shares Instructions to Make DIY Abortion Pills.” They’re not condemning the group for spreading potentially dangerous medical misinformation about a “horse medication.” They’re actually giving detailed information and citing the group’s members and discussion. They’re promoting it. They even go as far as to say,

“This is reminiscent of ivermectin, which is used to control parasites in horses but also became a favored-but ineffective-COVID treatment among conspiracy theorists. Ivermectin’s use in horses made it easier for humans to get without a prescription.”

Y’all, they STILL won’t admit that Ivermectin is a Nobel Prize-winning HUMAN medication that has been successfully used globally for decades, including anecdotally for treating COVID. They still won’t say it. And how hilarious that they get one last jab in about how Ivermectin’s “use in horses made it easier for humans to get without a prescription” when THAT’S LITERALLY PART OF THE INFORMATION THEY PROMOTED ABOUT THE DIY ABORTON PILL! On Twitter, they literally promote the fact that “misoprostol is relatively easy to acquire from veterinary sources.”

And then there’s this bit about how, in a “progressive, just world,” they wouldn’t t even need to talk about how to make your own abortion pills from “horse medication” because killing your baby would be totally legal and widely available through medical professionals. Oh, you mean like how, in a “progressive, just world,” a safe and potentially viable treatment for a global pandemic wouldn’t have been dishonestly and unjustifiably discredited and subsequently banned from pharmacies while spreading disinformation that it was only a horse medication and therefore dangerous to humans? You mean like how a potential treatment would have been legal and widely available through medical professionals? You mean like that, VICE?

Apparently, “The fact that he had to make the [DIY abortion pill] video at all speaks to the horrifying nature of the world we’re finding ourselves in, and the potential lengths women might need to go to to [sic] have an abortion in a world without the protections of Roe v. Wade.” Weird, though, because the only thing that overturning Roe v. Wade would do is to give the power to the STATES to decide, rather than the Federal government. Which is actually exactly how it should have always been. The citizens of each state would get to decide rather than having California and New York decide for the entire country. So, rather than finding a vet and making some kind of DIY abortion pill to try to kill your baby, you could just go to California or New York, where it will surely be legalized because it will be upon the state to choose whether to ban or legalize. See how that works? Hop in a car and drive to Cali to kill your baby. Can’t afford the gas? Just buy electric. I mean, that’s what Biden’s admin tells us… But overturning Roe v. Wade doesn’t actually ban all abortions everywhere.

See, you weren’t allowed to use a “horse medication” to treat COVID because they wanted COVID cases and hospitalizations to be up so they could justify more authoritarian control. They wanted to eliminate viable treatment options because they wanted to force everyone to get the vaccine.

But there’s a new narrative and new agenda priorities, so “horse medications” are not only permissible but essential for the public to know about.
