Leftist TV Hosts Annoyed “Everybody” And “Straight White Men” Get Free Speech Rights

To no one’s surprise, liberal TV hosts are melting down about the Elon Musk Twitter takeover, and they’re producing some truly terrible takes on the subject. The View’s Sunny Hostin is super irritated that Elon’s whole “free speech” thing is going to include “straight white men,” who she and so many other leftists consider the ultimate danger to her ideal society.

I mean, did she think that straight white men stopped having free speech rights when the leftist narrative decided they were public enemy number one? Actually, I think that’s exactly what she thinks. She thinks that free speech rights should only be given to “approved” individuals and groups who use those free speech rights for “approved” speech about “approved” topics. So she actually believes in carefully moderated and curated speech within strictly controlled parameters, or controlled speech. And she’s terrified that one of the biggest arenas of public information and exchange of ideas might not continue curating information to her preferred specifications.

And CNN’s Brian Stelter, is right there with her. He apparently can’t comprehend a social media universe “where there is total freedom for everybody.” Heaven forbid “everybody” has the freedom to say what they think or believe. I mean, wow. That would be horrifying, right? Only “approved” people should have the freedom to say “approved” things about “approved” topics. Bit certainly not “everybody.” Brian Stelter thinks that’s just far safer for everyone, apparently.
