Sec Pompeo and Sen Warren Talk Iran Deal On Twitter

While the world was watching Joe Biden try and defend the sexual allegations against him, Secretary Pompeo and Senator Warren got in a twitter spat over Iran.

Iran was caught sending material to Iran to help restart its oil refinery industry. President Trump placed sanctions on both of these countries. Iran is being sanctioned by the United States for helping fund terrorism, including the propping up of the dictator Madura. Venezuela is being sanctioned by the United States for frauding their elections so Madura could steal the country away from its people.

According to a report by Reuters, Planes leaving Iran arrived in Venezuela Thursday. The Iranians used a private airline, Mahan Air, to deliver the refinery equipment. It is significant to note that the planes landed in the Western part of Venezuela, near their refinery in Cardon.

The Reuters report said, “Erling Rojas, vice-minister for refining and petrochemicals in Venezuela’s Oil Ministry, announced the arrival of the material on Twitter. “Thanks to the support of our allies in the Islamic Republic of Iran.”

With heavy pressure from America and its allies, both countries have experienced a real dip in their oil production. Venezuela is at a “near-total collapse of its 1.3 million-barrels-per-day refining network after years of underinvestment and lack of maintenance.”

Now back to the twitter spat between Secretary Pompeo and Senator Warren.

It all started with this insufferable tweet by Senator Warren:

“The international prohibition on weapons going to/from Iran ends in October. To extend this arms embargo, the Trump admin is suddenly arguing that the US is a party to the same Iran Deal it abandoned. That makes no sense. Make up your mind,@SecPompeo.”

Secretary Pompeo responds with a big fat nice try, but hard no for Senator Warren. Pompeo says, “@SenWarren, you should review the law again — our rights under UNSCR 2231 are separate from the JCPOA. But I’ll put you down for Chinese arms sales to Iran on October 18. Which weapons is it okay with you if they send? A couple of divisions of VT-4 tanks good?”

The Warren responds:

“Actually, paragraph 10 of UNSCR 2231 encourages the US to resolve disputes *through the Iran nuclear deal* – the same one you withdrew from, limiting our options and making us less safe. Nice try, @SecPompeo. But can I put you down for reentering the #IranDeal?”

Warren claims that the Iran nuclear deal made us safe and that leaving the deal, “limited our options and made us less safe.”

We know this to be false. We know that the Iran deal did nothing for American safety or the safety of our allies. Iran continued to funnel money and assistance to terrorist organizations around the world.

We know Obama paid the Iranian regime billions of dollars in secret pallets of cash delivered in the middle of the night.

We know that for the first time in a long time, we have a President ready to win a game of chicken with a terrorist country and win.

That’s why Pompeo says, “Nope. America and Israel are safer outside the Iran deal, which was a failed effort to appease terrorists. But thanks for clarifying you want the arms embargo lifted this October.”

I know, you know, Trump knows, Pompeo knows, and now Warren knows.
