Greta Thunberg’s Mother, Melena Ernman, Performed In…Soft Core Popera.

What is soft core popera?  It’s a word I just made up that combines soft core porn and opera –  to describe whatever in the holy hell this is.  It was sent to us by a clever and competent reader, and if I have to see it, y’all have to see it with me.

I was waiting and waiting for her to actually sing, but alas.

However, Melena IS a legit opera singer, and is quite talented.

Even more interesting than Malena, though, is Greta’s father, who described in detail how the Greta phenomenon began in this video:

In case there was any question, at the 2.48 minute mark, Svante Thunberg explains that this whole thing began when Greta stopped eating, stopped talking, and fell into a depression, missing school for a year due to her illness.  Once they got her over that hump, they discovered that she was upset about the climate.  They slowly made family changes – giving up one of their two homes, becoming vegan, buying and then giving up an electric car versus their old gas guzzler, giving up travel via planes – all because Greta showed them some climate statistics that were upsetting to her.

“We can’t be driving private cars,” anymore, Svante says, incredulously, as if the entire world should be bending to the will of his daughter.

Greta, by the way, hilariously tweeted a few days ago that she isn’t political. BEHOLD:

Remember the op-ed she wrote, in which she said, “After all, the climate crisis is not just about the environment. It is a crisis of human rights, of justice, and of political will. Colonial, racist, and patriarchal systems of oppression have created and fueled it. We need to dismantle them all. Our political leaders can no longer shirk their responsibilities.”

She’s actually the worst KIND of political – the kind who believes that her views are to be taken as gospel, simply because she holds them.

Anyway, her mom used to be a soft core popera star.  FYI.
