March 22, 2019On Thursday, President Trump made an incredibly historical announcement. He said it was time to recognize Israel’s sovereignty over the Golan Heights. He tweeted, “After 52 years it is time for the United States to fully recognize Israel’s Sovereignty over the Golan Heights, which is of critical strategic and security importance to the State of Israel and Regional Stability!”
Netanyahu thanked him almost immediately.
Trump truly has been a great friend to Israel. It’s one of the many reasons I voted for him. I was hoping he’d restore our relationship, and he did.
All of that inspired Sarah Sanders to made a huge declaration.
