Sean Hannity Responds To Jimmy Kimmel’s Non-Apology Apology

Jimmy Kimmel and Sean Hannity engaged in a pretty heated back and forth last week. You can catch up on all the drama right here. Long story short, Kimmel mocked Melania Trump’s accent, Hannity pushed back, Kimmel pushed back with some explicit erection jokes, Hannity shot back by referring to Kimmel as Harvey Weinstein Jr., and Kimmel ultimately dropped a non-apology apology.

I thought it was good-natured, but it wasn’t. Did you catch the jab?

“I am hopeful Sean Hannity will learn from this too and continue his newly-found advocacy for women, immigrants and First Ladies and that he will triumph in his heroic battle against sexual harassment and perversion,” Kimmel wrote.

Oh PLEASE. How would Hannity react? I’ve been DYING to know.

He responded to Kimmel’s “forced Disney corporate apology” Monday night.

“After we called Kimmel out, he responded with even more vicious attacks. Kimmel apologized for some of his behavior,” Hannity said. “I read the apology carefully, a couple of things are very clear to me.”

“I believe everyone should accept apologies, that’s how I was raised, that’s what my religion teaches me. I’m going to assume he’s sincere,” he continued. “I do agree with Jimmy in this sense, it’s time to move on. It was never about Hannity versus Jimmy Kimmel, it’s a lot bigger than that.”

“The level of hatred and vitriol against this President and his family is unprecedented […] The left in this country even attacks the President’s ten, eleven-year-old son,” Hannity added. “From my point of view, it’s over with Jimmy Kimmel.”

“It’s over,” he stated before issuing a final warning. “…if you start up again, I’ll punch back even harder.”

Ooooh.
