Roseanne Set Jimmy Kimmel Straight, And It Was Something Else

It’s about time!

Roseanne sat down with Jimmy Kimmel, and it was great. Of course, Kimmel hates Trump, and everyone knows it. Roseanne wasn’t going to just sit there and say nothing. Come on now.

“I’m shocked … because I know you were a very socially liberal person in general,” Kimmel said.

“I’m still the same! You all moved! You all went so f**king far out, you lost everything,” she said. “I mean, seriously.”

She’s right, and it’s funny because Kimmel totally had to concede. He knows she’s right.

“You’re probably right, by the way,” he said.

She didn’t stop there. Roseanne also talked about how “we don’t want to watch the president fail.”

“I just want to say this, Jimmy,” she said. “A lot of us, no matter who we voted for, we don’t want to see our president fail … Because we don’t want Pence! You want Pence for the frickin president?”

He said no, and she replied, “Well then zip that f**king lip.”

That’s one way to put it. (But I still have SO MUCH respect for Pence.)

“Here’s my two cents damn it: It’s up to us to make this government work, no matter who’s president,” she continued.” It’s up to us to do our jobs as citizens, and if we don’t like something, you know, let them know you don’t like it, and then you’ve got another election in two years. Get out there and vote. Change it if you don’t like it.”

I just love how Kimmel didn’t dare to completely “go there.”
