President Trump has been back and forth on the ginormous $1.3 trillion spending bill.
Got $1.6 Billion to start Wall on Southern Border, rest will be forthcoming. Most importantly, got $700 Billion to rebuild our Military, $716 Billion next year…most ever. Had to waste money on Dem giveaways in order to take care of military pay increase and new equipment.

It sounded like he was on board, but then he dropped this bomb on everyone this morning.
I am considering a VETO of the Omnibus Spending Bill based on the fact that the 800,000 plus DACA recipients have been totally abandoned by the Democrats (not even mentioned in Bill) and the BORDER WALL, which is desperately needed for our National Defense, is not fully funded.

I want a veto. It doesn’t sound like he’s considering a veto for the same reason I would consider a veto, but it’d be a veto nonetheless.
Then Trump dropped another bomb on us.

President Trump’s signing the bill.
"My highest duty is to keep America safe, nothing more important," Pres. Trump says. "The omnibus bill reverses this dangerous defense," he continues, referring to his dissatisfaction with previous DoD budget cuts https://t.co/5GwRepDIzr pic.twitter.com/8tTzSCTbuL

Pres. Trump: "Therefore, as a matter of national security, I've signed this omnibus budget bill. There are a lot of things that I'm unhappy about in this bill. There are a lot of things that we shouldn't have had in this bill." https://t.co/5GwRepDIzr pic.twitter.com/7gtrNojVNn

He said there’s a lot he’s not happy about, but military is his #1 priority. Trump also said he told Congress he will NEVER sign a bill like this again.
Pres. Trump: "I say to Congress, I will never sign another bill like this again. I'm not going to do it again. Nobody read it. It's only hours old." https://t.co/5GwRepDIzr pic.twitter.com/vUkuq87695

I guess that’s nice, but it still sucks he’s signing this one.
Something to note– Defense Secretary Mattis just met with President Trump at the White House and supposedly swayed Trump, citing defense spending. Everyone knows that’s Trump’s soft spot– the military.
So here we are. The bill is a reality.
I’m not happy.
