Law-Abiding Citizens Use #WhyICarry To Cut Through The False Anti-Gun Narrative

It’s so hard to have a rational conversation with the victims of a tragic shooting when they look at you and say you’re a “pathetic f***er” who doesn’t care about dead children.

We have to fight back. I know hashtag campaigns seem pointless, but it’s time to accept that it’s the world we live in. If #resisters want to play that game, we will too.

Thus, #WhyICarry was born.

I was the victim of crime more than once. Before carrying regularly, we had firearms in our home. Hubby was carrying one day when hiding in our home were 2 robbers high on drugs. Knowing he was armed, I ran (they chased) toward him/safety. I carry & will never be a victim again.

I’m gonna add to that.

I carry because I HATE feeling completely defenseless. A gun is a great equalizer, and evil people are everywhere. It’s my RIGHT enshrined in the Constitution, and I refuse to take it for granted. We the armed People constantly keep tyrannical government at bay.
