ROY MOORE.

According to that sourcelink, Senate GOP nominee Roy Moore allegedly initiated contact with teenaged women, and one woman claims that she had a sexual encounter with him when she was just 14 and he was 32.

Gross.

Mitch McConnell is calling on Moore to withdraw from the race if the report is confirmed, saying, “If these allegations are true, he must step aside.”

Leigh Corfman is the woman who was quoted in the Post article, and she claims that Moore started a sexual relationship with her when he was assistant DA in 1979.

Apparently 3 other women said Moore hit on them when he was in his 30s and they were in their teens, but they say he didn’t try to have sexual contact with them.

Moore denies the allegations.

“These allegations are completely false and are a desperate political attack by the National Democrat Party and the Washington Post on this campaign,” Moore said in the statement.

Senator Cornyn suggested that we wait for facts to come out:

“If it is true, I don’t think his candidacy is sustainable,” Cornyn said. “But we believe in a presumption of innocence until proven guilty. And so I think it’s important for the facts to come out.”

Pressed by reporters on the further proof he would want to view the allegations against Moore as true, Cornyn added: “I’m interested in seeing what substantiation there is for the story.”

Anyway, I’ve reached my limit on these stories, as I’m sure many of y’all have, but they keep coming out, and so we keep having to tell you about them.
