I try not to let an artist’s political ideology get in the way of me enjoying their music, but I make an exception for Katy Perry. She’s deliberately insufferable, and her music isn’t that great to begin with anyway. She has a few catchy, trashy tunes I’ll dance to in Zumba, but I’m not a fan.

As you can see, Ellen is clearly staring at Katy’s gigantic knockers. Ellen’s reference to “big balloons” is also a reference to said knockers.

Here’s the thing. If anyone else posted such a deliberate “hey-I-love-your-ginormous-boobs” birthday post– ESPECIALLY a conservative, straight male– this would be used as another prime example of sexism in Hollywood. Liberals would be all, “OMG. He mentioned her boobs on her birthday. And look at the offensive picture he posted! HER FACE IS UP HERE YOU SEXIST JERK!!!!” But because Ellen is a super funny lesbian and everyone “gets” her, this is totally OK.
