Remember how Shia LaBeouf put up some weird anti-Trump “art” thing in New York and how it was supposed to stay there until the end of Trump’s presidency?
According to this, police have now taken down the display, saying that it was a “flashpoint for violence” –
Shia LaBeouf’s four-year anti-Trump exhibit has been shut down three weeks into its launch after museum officials said the installation had become a ‘flashpoint for violence.’
A live webcam had been mounted on the wall outside of the Museum of Moving Images in Queens last month as part of LaBeouf’s ‘He Will Not Divide Us’ campaign against Donald Trump.
The camera began running 24/7 since Inauguration Day and was set to run until the end of the president’s term.
So, a pathetic actor’s idiotic attempt to make a political point was taken down for being a menace to the public. And, based on the footage taken from the 24/7 webcam that the actor himself installed in the exhibit, the actor in question was the one instigating most of the violence and conflict at the site –
Let me check… nope. Still fresh out of pity.
Though I have to admit, I’m a little disappointed that Shia never used his Louis Stevens high-pitched-whine scream during these little shouting matches –

Now THAT would… probably not have made anyone listen to him, but it would have been funnier.
