Speaking Of How Much Popular Culture Sucks… Lena Dunham’s Being Disgusting Again!

It’s funny that this happened the day that Daisy posted this Paul Joseph Watson video wherein PJW laments the ugliness and vulgarity of modern popular culture. Which, if you haven’t watched that video, I HIGHLY encourage you to do so. It explains SO MUCH of why Western civilization has gone down the tubes in recent years.

So, on a day when we’re discussing how dumbed-down and stupid modern culture has become, Lena Dunham is being interviewed on national TV and blurts out the word “penis.” Because that’s all she knows how to do –

Ugh. Remind me why this talentless vulgar pig is so celebrated by our culture? Why is she considered the “voice of her generation”? Why do I have to care about her brain-dead antics?

Because the culture does. And our modern culture is no better than the scummy, sticky, slimy scrapings on the bottom of a fast food dumpster.

Lena Dunham has so little talent and contributes so little to the advancement of culture, but she’s famous for being fat, naked, and saying things that – just a few years ago – would have been considered too low or crass for public consumption (believe it or not, we used to have Actual Standards for famous people). And the general population thinks she is FUNNY. So, she’s a household name and wins awards for being disgusting. Meanwhile, people with Actual Talent are passed over because they don’t represent the dumbing-down of modern Western culture.

This story is everything I despise about Lena Dunham and what she represents. We can’t study Shakespeare or other great writers of the past because they’re not politically correct and they might hurt somebody’s feelings. But Lena Dunham casually saying “penis” on the TODAY Show is an example of a bold and brave feminist icon. A role model for women and girls all over the world.

Heaven help us.
