Here Is The List Of People Speaking At The GOP Convention Next Week…

The Republican National Convention is next week. I can’t decide if I’m ready for the fireworks or not. Part of me is can’t wait for this to be over with. Another part of me wants to run for the hills and hide in a bunker somewhere and pretend it’s not happening. Yet another part of me wants to park myself in front of a constant livestream of the proceedings with a bowl of popcorn and watch the drama unfold.

This election has played merry hell with my subconscious. Heaven knows what state I’ll be in the morning on November 9th.

Anyway – the RNC has released the list of speakers they’ve scheduled for the convention. Mostly politicians and members of the Trump family – some religious leaders. There’s no indication what day each one will speak yet. But here’s the list –

If you noticed in that ginormous list of people, there are several names here that have been bandied about for Trump’s running mate – New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie, former House Speaker Newt Gingrich, Alabama Sen. Jeff Sessions and Retired Lt. Gen. Michael Flynn. One notable exception is Indiana Governor Mike Pence. Which – this could mean that Pence is no longer under consideration?

Either way, we’ll know tomorrow at 11:00 am eastern time.

UPDATE: The announcement came earlier than expected. Mike Pence has been announced as Trump’s running mate.
