Marvel Comics Artist Gets Harassed For His Pro-Trump Views

First of all – I was surprised to find out that anyone working for Marvel Comics was pro-Trump (I thought a question about political preferences would have been on the job application and used to weed out any undesirables). But I guess Mitch Breitweiser slipped through their leftist totalitarian cracks.

According to this, Breitweiser – who has done artwork for Futurists and Captain America  – posted this image to Twitter that he did in celebration of Donald Trump winning the 2016 election –

Ah, but see – that’s not allowed in pop culture! You’re not supposed to even like Donald Trump, let alone have been pulling for him to win! You racist!

The sad thing is that many of these people are actually friends and colleagues of Breitweiser. But I guess that liberalism for you – being friends with anyone who is even remotely right-of-center is simply intolerable.

And the liberal media wonders why Taylor Swift didn’t inject herself into the election.

If polite questions are still allowed in America, I would like to ask these whiny leftists how they think conservatives feel when our favorite actors, musicians, artists, etc. express the opinion that anyone on the right is Literally Hitler and that we should all go crawl into a hole and die. Goodness knows there are tons of them and it happens quite a bit (Chris Evans, I am soooo disappointed…), but by-and-large – unless they do something REALLY snotty – we still manage to be fans of theirs. Apparently, separating a person’s politics from their art is a conservative superpower.

We could debate the wisdom of a comics artist like Breitweiser expressing a pro-Trump view all we like (I’m a little iffy about that sun-halo-thing he has behind Trump, personally). But you know good and well that had Hillary won, there would be TONS of pro-Hillary artists creating celebratory pieces and plastering them all over the place. Shoot, Marvel might even have commissioned a special commemorative cover celebrating Madam President with all of their major comics lines.

But celebrating President-Elect Trump? YOU RACIST/SEXIST/HOMOPHOBE/ISLAMOPHBOBE/XENOPHOBE/BIGOT!

Yeah, it’s just another day in Liberal-Tolerance-Land.
