Biden’s Department Of Justice is now suing Elon Musk’s SpaceX for daring to require an employee to be a citizen or legal permanent resident in the United States of America in order to be employed by the company. In their press release, the DOJ explains that they’re suing because “SpaceX hired only U.S. citizens and lawful permanent residents” while they “refused to hire qualified asylees and refugee applicants and repeatedly rejected asylee and refugee applicants because of their citizenship status,” and even “discouraged asylees and refugees from applying for open positions.”
I mean, it stands to reason that if one of the qualifications for employment is that the employee be a citizen or legal permanent resident, then non-citizen asylees and refugees aren’t actually “qualified applicants,” are they. They lack a major qualification for the job. And perhaps SpaceX discouraged them from applying because they knew they weren’t qualified for the position based on them not being citizens or lawful permanent residents. Speaking of which, since when does the Biden Administration care about hiring “qualified applicants?” It certainly hasn’t been standard practice in their White House or administration.
This is completely insane.

Biden's DOJ is suing @elonmusk's SpaceX because they only hired American citizens instead of refugees and asylum seekers and wants to force them to give full back pay to non-citizens that they choose to not hire. pic.twitter.com/IzB3GVj252
The press release further alleges that “to obtain their status [as asylees and refugees], they undergo thorough vetting by the United States government.” Uh, do they, though? This lawsuit is specific to September 2018-September 2020, so before Biden’s Afghanistan withdrawal debacle and southern border crisis, which has given rise to extremely serious concerns regarding the failure to vet asylees and refugees. But the real issue here is precedent. They’re setting the legal stage to be able to force American employers to hire all the illegal immigrants they’re letting flood the country.
But hey, why waste time on the whole Biden Crime Family situation when you could sue SpaceX for only hiring American citizens?

SpaceX only hired U.S. citizens and lawful permanent residents? That’s kinda required when you work in an industry with export-controlled information (and yes, anything that can accurately lob things into Earth orbit is one of those industries, unless you’re comfortable with Iranian or North Korean “scientists” getting the same information that TOTALLY wouldn’t be used in their military rockets)
