Homeless Man Executed On St. Louis Sidewalk In Broad Daylight

A video just hit social media that is horrifying and graphic. Consider this your content warning. The video shows a man spending 42 seconds fumbling around with a gun, trying to unload and reload the weapon while casually standing on the sidewalk beside a man who was sitting on the curb. For 42 seconds, the person recording the video watches and discusses this man’s behavior and gun violence in the area. When the man manages to properly load the weapon, he immediately points the gun directly at the head of the man sitting on the curb next to him and shoots him point blank and without hesitation. There are SO MANY videos of horrific violence being perpetrated in broad daylight, in public, with observers and onlookers all around. These videos really irritate me for two major reasons. Firstly, when did it become socially acceptable to simply brawl in public like that, or even shoot someone dead right on the curb? It used to be that if you wanted to fight someone or even kill someone, you take it ‘out back’ to a place that’s a little more private. Now, it’s happening on any given sidewalk or in any given restaurant or store. When did people get so brazen that they aren’t even concerned about the legal or criminal repercussions of perpetrating extreme violence in public and with numerous witnesses to record the violence? That’s a rhetorical question since we already know this became acceptable during the misguided woke social justice movement, where all manner of violence and destruction became permissible.

Secondly, when did it become the new normal for people to just watch and film as someone beats someone else unconscious or even to death right in front of them? There’s not much this guy could or should have done in this situation, but there are countless videos where onlookers simply watch and record the fight. When did people stop helping those in need? Again, that’s a rhetorical question since we know this became the new normal at the same time that unchecked violence and destruction in the name of woke social justice became permissible. I think people are legitimately too scared to step in and help because they will end up being targeted as a racist or bigot for daring to get involved. Also, people have become soft and are probably too scared of getting hurt in the process of helping. You don’t expect a soft Gen Z beta male to risk a black eye to break up a fight between people he doesn’t know, do you? Not a chance.
