WaPo Hilariously Labels Twitter Files Exposé Journos “Conservative Journalists,” Shows How Far Left WaPo Has Really Gone

The Washington Post, once a decent source of legitimate information and news, was yet again horrifyingly biased in a major article about a major social issue, and then tried to quietly edit their article after publication because they lack all journalistic integrity. If you still consider the Washington Post to be a credible news and information organization, I would suggest you stop considering them as such and realize that they are as blatantly biased, corrupt, and agenda-driven as any other Leftist propaganda organization.

Over the last week and a half, Elon Musk has dropped a bunch of Twitter Files that proved rampant bias and political corruption within the massive social media company, and he did so through two journalists– Matt Taibbi and Bari Weiss, who are very well established as liberal, independent, and ethical journalists. I quite like them both and have followed them for a long time. But the Washington Post doesn’t care about reality or facts or accuracy. They only care about narrative, perception, and agenda. So in a recent article on the Twitter Files, WaPo hilariously referred to these two journalists as “conservative journalists.” It was meant to be disparaging pejorative, as though that label discredited these two people, their work, and thus the entire Twitter Files scandal. But the only thing that intentionally erroneous label did was prove how far Left the Washington Post has really gone. They’ve gone so far Left that two incredible, independent, unbiased, and historically LIBERAL journalists seem downright “conservative” to them.

I’m not sure exactly why this happened. Do the WaPo people really not know who Weiss and Taibbi are? Were they legitimately unfamiliar with their history and just assumed they must be conservative journalists if they are reporting on the Twitter Files that might reflect poorly on various Leftist priorities, agendas, and political figures? In which case, this showcases their obvious lack of journalistic ethics and their shoddy work that they didn’t even bother to actually check their facts and went straight for a politically biased assumption. Says a lot more about about the Washington Post than it does about Weiss and Taibbi.

Or do the WaPo people know exactly who Weiss and Taibbi are and truly considered them to be “conservative journalists?” In which case, this simply goes to show how incredibly leftist they are. The only way Weiss and Taibbi could possibly be considered “conservative journalists” is by a metric which is skewed so far to the left that those once left of center end up on the right. Which again says so much more about the Washington Post than it does about Weiss and Taibbi.

A while back, Elon Musk posted a meme created by Colin Write which showed the Leftward progression of the political scale, which I think perfectly exemplifies the situation we have here.

Of course, consistent with their absolute lack of journalistic integrity and ethics, the Washington Post tried to quietly edit their article after publication to remove the offending label which ended up backfiring on them. Because why fess up to blatant bias and perception manipulation if you can just edit whatever backfired and hope people don’t notice?
