FDA Now Claims Their Campaign Against Ivermectin Was Just An Informal Recommendation

Back on Aug. 21, 2021, the FDA tweeted, “You are not a horse. You are not a cow. Seriously, y’all. Stop it.” It was part of a massive and well coordinated campaign to discredit Ivermectin as a possible treatment or preventative for COVID-19. Of course, we now know that it had nothing to do with public health or the safety of Ivermectin, which is considered one of the safest and cheapest drugs in the entire world for many decades and even won a Nobel Prize in medicine for being such. No, it was about preventing anything from getting in the way of the extremely lucrative vaccines, which would only receive emergency authorization for use if there were no viable alternative treatments at the time, and for which vaccines Big Pharma and Big Government wanted people to be desperate. Neither of those things would happen if Ivermectin happened to help people. And so, the FDA was VERY clear in their vilification and discouragement of Ivermectin use, a common, extremely safe, and extremely versatile human antiviral which also happens to be used in animals, as are many other human medicines.

All the people who might have benefited from Ivermectin as a prophylactic or treatment didn’t matter to the FDA. All the doctors who were vilified for recommending or prescribing Ivermectin didn’t matter to the FDA. The only things that mattered to them were money and power.

But now, after countless people suffered with or died from COVID, potentially unnecessarily, after being denied Ivermectin as a possible preventative or therapeutic, the FDA is rewriting history to make themselves look a little less like the villains that they clearly are. Now, they’re saying that their massive campaign to discredit and discourage Ivermectin was just an informal recommendation. They say this as though people were perfectly capable of going against this recommendation and obtaining Ivermectin to prevent or treat COVID infection. As though pharmacies didn’t refuse to stock or fill Ivermectin prescriptions as a result of this “recommendation.” As though doctors didn’t lose their licenses or get censured for prescribing Ivermectin against this “recommendation.” As though fearmongering fake news stories weren’t published about hospitals being full of Ivermectin overdoses based on this “recommendation.” This “recommendation” very literally shaped the course of the plandemic.

In a Nov. 1, 2022 federal court hearing in Texas, FDA lawyers said,

“The cited statements were not directives. They were not mandatory. They were recommendations. They said what parties should do. They said, for example, why you should not take ivermectin to treat COVID-19. They did not say you may not do it, you must not do it. They did not say it’s prohibited or it’s unlawful. They also did not say that doctors may not prescribe ivermectin. They use informal language, that is true. It’s conversational but not mandatory.”

And yet, this supposed informal recommendation DID serve to tell people what they “may not do” and what they “must not do.” While it didn’t expressly “say it’s prohibited or it’s unlawful,” it did, in fact, make it prohibited and unlawful. And while it “did not say that doctors may not prescribe ivermectin,” it made it so that doctors were not allowed to prescribe ivermectin. Their “recommendation” did, in fact, do all the things they claim their “recommendation” did not do.

It was never just a recommendation. The FDA was very clear that Ivermectin use was essentially prohibited, and people suffered very real and disastrous consequences as a result.
