It shouldn’t be a surprise that Michigan has a significant blue streak. Detroit is home to the Big Three automakers. What is a huge part of the history of unions in America? Carmaker factory workers unions (UAW).

It must be something in the Flint River water. LOL I told the story before, but I had the same conversation with my Michigan wife – my only wife, but it is worth repeating.
Were on our way home and I does not always have to insinuate that I am stupid. She immediately gets defensive and says, I have never insinuated that you are stupid, and I never would. less than 5 minutes later we get home, and I am carrying what we bought through her newly remodeled kitchen- earlier a car drove through our kitchen late at night- and I hear a small voice behind me say, “Way to go genius.” She thought I had scratched her new bamboo floor. She is lucky she is so damn pretty.
Should have been, “Were on our way home and I told her, she does not always have to insinuate that I am stupid.”
