Elon needs to buy Twitter like 5 minutes ago. Seriously, this is insanity. We already know that the Biden Admin had meetings with Twitter and other social media platforms regarding censorship. This all came out early last month. So you would think that things would be more on the up and up since this all came out. Well, you would be wrong.
JUST IN – Twitter is rolling out its Birdwatch "collaborative fact-checking" program ahead of the U.S. midterm elections.

"Helpful notes" added to tweets by eligible users will be visible to everyone in the US starting today.
Twitter is now launching their newest fact-checking system, Birdwatch. They are marketing it in a way that states “one group alone can’t determine what notes get shown.” Ok. Well I can tell you there is one side that is for free speech, and one that is against it. So I’ll let you make the call on what side you think is going to be doing the fact-checking here.
Here’s a short video about Birdwatch!

Not only does it add fact-checks, or as they call it “helpful context,” to tweets, the contributors can be anyone. Literally anyone can sign up and start fact checking things. I have an idea, how about we just let people post whatever the heck they want because this is America. What an insane concept.
Elon can’t buy Twitter and get rid of all of this madness fast enough.

Even if I don’t assume any particular motives in this it’s just worthless. All you are basically doing is creating a secondary response system that is given higher priority than normal responses through the original system.
“one group alone can’t determine what notes get shown.”
This statement is just an outright lie as there is one group that is determining what notes get shown and that’s the Birdwatch users.
