Check Out What Happened When This Guy Tried To Wordsplain Me. Wall Of Shame? ABSOLUTELY YES.

YOU GUYS.  Two Wall of Shame entries in one week!!! 🙂 And once again, it’s because of an exchange I had in the comment section on Tiktok after I posted a video mocking Kamala Harris’ word salad extravaganzathon.  In the video, I say, in part of my rant, “….her team, for whatever reason, wrote down a script for her which she ostensibly followed, and she says ‘work together’ or ‘working together’ so often…” etc. etc.

ANYWAY, as you can see in the quote from my video, I used the word “ostensibly.”  It’s a good word, I like it, it filled a need. It’s not one of those words that Ashley Judd uses to show off with – one of those words that could easily be replaced by a much more normal word.  The word “ostensibly” fits in a way that few other words do, it has a precise meaning, and so I use it.

Tough guy “scumhater” (and yes, that is his chosen Tiktok handle), (who unfortunately conservatives apparently must claim as being one of our own based on a quick glance of some of his content), decided to try to wordsplain me about my word choice.  It was a complete fail.

BEHOLD:

I had to read this several times to figure out what in the eff he was talking about.  I thought, “WTF? I didn’t even use the word extensively in this…” and then it hit me.  Dude misheard me!  He thought I used the word “extensively” incorrectly, and decided it was his job to tell me that I butchered the usage of it.  Because honestly what would I do without a big strong man like scumhater to tell me how to speak properly, right?

Anyway, I responded.

Now, a normal human being would be like, “Oh! I misheard her.”  But not scumhater.  Scumhater clearly felt humiliated, because here he was trying to mansplain me about vocabulary, and instead, he got corrected.  I mean, it’s not like I was mean about it – I simply explained that I didn’t use the word he thought I used.  No big deal, right?

Well, scumhater thought it was a big deal.

No, a-hole.  I’m just using a word that there aren’t a whole lot of other good words for.  That’s what I was thinking in my head, but instead I wrote a somewhat nicer response:

And then, scumhater’s humiliation was just too much for him.  I’m guessing that at this point he was literally taking his d*ck out and swinging it at random women in pure exasperation, but that wasn’t enough for him.  He needed to have the satisfaction of setting us womenfolk straight.  So since he couldn’t personally swing his d*ck at us, and he definitely wanted to have his response be seen by everyone else in the comment thread,  he did the next most predictable thing that guys like scumhater do.  He bragged about…..HOW MUCH MONEY HE MAKES.

HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA!  This is my favorite thing ever.  Look.

I legit laughed out loud at that.  Because honestly, up until that moment, I hadn’t realized that if you make money and have employees, you’re automatically in charge of deciding how obscure or not obscure various words in the English language are.  Did you know that?  Well, make a note of it, losers.  Scumhater is way smarter than you because he makes money and supervises people! LOOK AT HIM GO!

I composed myself, and then responded:

I mean seriously.  What a freaking d*ck.  You know who else makes a lot of money and has employees?  CARDI B.  And she can barely complete a coherent sentence.
