Welcome to Biden’s Crazy World. The water’s warm everyone! Come on in!
You read that right. They ALL AGREE. (Ummmmm, I bet we could find one….who wants to bet? Anyone? Bueller??)
Levine made the comments ahead of a Saturday speech at Texas Christian University during which Levine blamed the high rate of suicidal ideation among transgender-identifying youth in part on “harassment, scapegoating and intentional abuse,” according to prepared remarks given to NPR.
“The language of medicine and science is being used to drive people to suicide,” Levine also claimed.
Notice how Levine clumps all the doctors together, and then she uses suicide as a way to try to normalize giving KIDS PUBERTY BLOCKERS WTF. That’s right – if the doctors (and YOU, you meanie) don’t think “gender-affirming care” is appropriate at such a pivotal, formative, YOUNG age, then you could be driving that young person to suicide, you awful, terrible, transphobic person. This is the kind of ridiculousness Levine is trying to sell the folks at Texas Christian University.
Much like Covid “science,” though, there is no argument, according to Levine. It’s quite fascinating how this sort of “science” works in progressive-liberal-land:
“There is no argument among medical professionals – pediatricians, pediatric endocrinologists, adolescent medicine physicians, adolescent psychiatrists, psychologists, etc. – about the value and the importance of gender-affirming care,” Levine told NPR.
Mmmm hmmm.
And if you don’t know what in the hell “gender-affirming care” is, here’s a recap for you:
“… includes social affirmation at any age, puberty blockers during puberty and hormone therapy starting during early adolescence. Irreversible surgery is “typically used in adulthood or case-by-case basis in adolescence…”
Because Florida is generally a place where SANITY lives, Florida Surgeon General Joseph Ladapo (a doctor, mind you) released both a FACT SHEET (with OMG, DATA AND not just feeeeeeeeeeeeeeeelings) and this statement in response to Levine’s absolute batsh*ttery:
Citing a “lack of conclusive evidence, and the potential for long-term, irreversible effects,” the Florida Department of Health advised against social transition, puberty blockers, hormones and surgery as treatment options for children and adolescents.
So, I guess there IS a doctor that isn’t in agreement, huh Rachel Levine? Which makes you a big fat Liar McLiarson. You work for Biden, though, so none of us out here with firing synapses in our brains are shocked.
PS – Stay the hell away from my kids.
