“Lightyear’s” Gay Kiss, China, And Disney Pixar’s LGBT Hypocrisy

Disney has lost tens of billions of dollars since inserting themselves directly into heart of the culture war and opposing Florida’s Parental Rights in Education bill that banned the inappropriate sexual indoctrination of young elementary kids. Disney decided to publicly oppose the bill, which had majority local and national support, and jumped on board with the woke mob who criticized the bill they misleadingly nicknamed the “Don’t Say Gay” bill.

As part of their opposition response, Pixar (a subsidiary of The Walt Disney Company) decided to make a bold virtue signal in their new Buzz Lightyear movie, announcing that they are adding back in a gay kiss that had previously been scrapped, as a statement of their disgust with the bill. Yes, ladies and gentlemen, they are adding in a completely unnecessary scene for absolutely no reason other than to virtue signal and protest. Honestly, does there have to be any kind of kiss at all in this children’s movie?

It’s their version of “saying gay” as a protest since they apparently believe you aren’t allowed to “say gay” in Florida, which isn’t even close to true. You absolutely can “say gay” in Florida, you just can’t have sexually inappropriate or sexual ideologically indoctrinating conversations with young children behind the backs of their parents. Being gay, saying gay, or talking about gay in Florida is not at all prohibited, despite what Disney, Pixar, and the woke mob say.

But Disney and Pixar are absolute hypocrites. While they’re virtue signaling their disgust with Florida’s nonexistent “Don’t Say Gay” policy, they’re accommodating the actual “don’t say gay” policies of foreign nations. Turns out they are going to edit out that gay kiss at the demand of China, Russia, and the Middle East, which are places that have “don’t say gay” types of policies. And this isn’t the first time they’ve done this. They routinely edit movies to accommodate policies that, in the United States, are considered discriminatory or hateful.

So, Russia, China, and the Middle East don’t want their citizens seeing a gay kiss because they have anti-gay sentiments and policies, so Disney/Pixar obediently removes the gay kiss to accommodate their very real anti-gay sentiments and policies. But Florida signs a bill banning sexually inappropriate or sexual ideologically indoctrinating conversations with young children behind the backs of their parents, and Disney/Pixar feels the need to protest the misconception that the bill is anti-gay? Do they honestly not see the hypocrisy here?

And yes, this is exactly as hypocritical as Disney’s push for equity, inclusion, and anti-racism while simultaneously saving and making billions of dollars by doing business with China, who uses slave labor and commits racial genocide. They’re just a bunch of virtue signaling hypocrites.
