CNN+ Is Sucking All Kinds Of Ballular Areas.

According to the sourcelink, CNN’s streaming service (CNN+) – the subscription streaming CNN platform that features Stelter the Potato, Jemele Hill, Don Lemon, and Chris Wallace as its main “stars” – is sucking basically every single monkeyball.

It launched just a couple weeks ago, and three hundred MILLION DOLLARS has been poured into the endeavor so far.  THREE HUNDRED MILLION DOLLARS, you guys.  When Zucker was still CEO, he had plans to invest ONE BILLION DOLLARS into the service over the next four years.  Can you imagine?

The problem – as you might expect – is that no one in their right mind wants to watch REGULAR CNN, let alone pay to watch an offshoot of it. Apparently, fewer then 10,000 people are watching CNN+ daily.  And I gotta tell ya, I have serious concerns about the mental stability of those 10,000 people.

Because of the suckage, CNN+ staffers are bracing themselves for the possibility of being let go from their jobs. We can only assume that the plan to pour MORE money into CNN+ has been put on hold or canceled altogether, because seriously WHY.

CNN’s new CEO reportedly wants to try to convince people that the network is a credible news outlet, which is gonna be tough considering the personalities they feature on the channel.  Having Don Lemon and Potato man as featured stars on CNN+ certainly isn’t helping.

To make things even more interesting, CNN is merging with Discovery, so the writer of the source article is speculating that Discovery will just sort of wrap CNN+ into HBOMax and Discovery+ – because THOSE two platforms have tons of subscribers already.  Whether they start charging more to HBOMax and Discovery+ subscribers for the “benefit” of also having access to CNN+?  I have no idea.

And, it’s anyone’s guess what this will all mean for Chris Wallace, who left his cush gig at Fox specifically to be the face of CNN+.  I used to think Wallace was a smart fellow – but that career move ended that thought right in its tracks.  Will they move Wallace to the regular CNN platform?  Who knows.

I’m sure I join all of you in being completely devastated at CNN+’s misfortune.
