Megyn Kelly RIPS AOC For Wanting More Freebies

She’s so so right about this – check out the 28.55 mark:

“So, do I think now that I would’ve been better if the federal government had stepped in?” she continued. “It would’ve been nice, but I don’t think the neighbors should have to pay for my college education! My mom made a sacrifice. We took out loans too, but we paid them back! Why should these snot-nosed kids today — I’m sorry, the ones who really need it, they can get loans, but like you point out, a lot of these people are going to be these college — Columbia — elite graduates who are going to spend their years in journalism trying to shame half of America for doing absolutely nothing wrong. Why should I be paying for their education? I don’t want to!”

YAAASSS GIRRRL.

AOC’s insistence that taxpayers should cover the student loans of ANYONE is absolutely absurd.  What if I had had student loans back in the day when I was attending the University of Kansas (INSERT GRATUITOUS ROCK CHALK JAYHAWK HERE)?  Why can’t I get refunded for those, if we’re now in the business of having taxpayers cover the expense? And if the government forgives current student loans, and those students end up with a free university education as a result, then why can’t my kid just go to school for “free” as well?  There are basically a MILLION REASONS why this stupid AOC proposal is unfair, unjust, impractical, and like every other idea AOC ever has ever – completely nonsensical.

When government got involved in student loans, that’s when everything got completely borked.  Just like ANYTHING ELSE the government has gotten involved in. So to think that if they now get involved in fixing a problem THEY HELPED CREATE – that they’ll make anything better?  PUHLEEEEZE.
