If y’all haven’t heard by now, transgender UPenn swimmer Lia Thomas took first place in the 500 Freestyle, because of course the biological male did that:

Side note – the 500 Free is one of my daughter’s best events, so my hackles go up when I watch this – and I hear of GIRLS GETTING EDGED OUT OF A COMPETITION they trained YEARS for – you know, by a biological dude.  Yep.  I’m a swim mom.  I watch the sacrifices my 12-year old daughter makes now, getting up early in the morning, practicing three hours a day, six days a week, and it will only get more intense.

Just so we’re clear, I assure you that I’m not the kind of swim mom who’s going to be silent about this absolute batshittery.
