You guys, does it get any more ridiculous than this?

Let’s unpack and untangle that for a moment. Our national debt is what the US owes its creditors. It’s like a giant credit card. So imagine you’re the government, and you’ve racked up 30 trillion dollars worth of debt. Out of all of the possible ways you could potentially pay down that debt, PUTTING MORE ON THE CREDIT CARD is simply not one of them. Math doesn’t work that way.
When you spend more money than you take in, you have a deficit. And the national debt is essentially the sum total of our country’s annual deficits. NONE OF WHICH go away by SPENDING MORE MONEY.
Third in line to the presidency, y’all.
