Ponytails Banned Because They’re Too Sexually Exciting. WHIZZAH WHUZZAH?!?

According to this, there are schools in Japan that forbid female students from wearing their hair up in ponytails because the male students might be sexually aroused by seeing the napes of their necks.

For real.

What in the actual eff.

If you’re a dude who can’t control your reaction to seeing a NECK NAPE, that’s kind of a YOU problem, isn’t it? Like – why should women not be able to wear a ponytail just because you have some sort of neck nape fetish?  CONTROL YOURSELF.

According to Vice, there was a survey conducted in 2020 that showed in a certain area of the country, ten percent of schools have the anti-ponytail rule. Can you imagine?

And that’s not the only dumb dress code rule in Japan.  According to this, many working women in Japan are forbidden from wearing GLASSES, because it makes women look “cold” and their makeup can’t be seen.  WTF.

But back to the schools.  According to the first sourcelink, some schools even have restrictions about the SHAPE OF YOUR EYEBROWS.  Can you imagine how borked I would be in Japan with my volcano-eyebrows?

It should be stated that it’s not EVERY school in Japan that has these crazy rules, but DAYUM.
