January 8, 2021I guess I shouldn’t be surprised but the newest member of “The Squad,” Dem. Rep. Cori Bush of Missouri plans to introduce a bill that would expel Republican lawmakers who “incited” the violence at the Capitol building yesterday.
I believe the Republican members of Congress who have incited this domestic terror attack through their attempts to overturn the election must face consequences. They have broken their sacred Oath of Office.

Bush said the bill would call for the House Administration and the Ethics Committees to investigate and decide whether lawmakers “who have sought to overturn the 2020 Presidential election have violated their oath of Office to uphold the Constitution,” or House rules, “and should face sanction, including removal from the House of Representatives.”
Never mind the fact that the Representatives and Senators were Constitutionally permitted to object.
Never mind that they were constitutionally representing the interests of about 75 million Americans who are concerned about election integrity.
Never mind that there is precedent from the Democrats themselves to object to certifying electoral votes (George Bush, George Bush again, and Donald Trump).
Never mind the fact that none of the lawmakers involved in the objections incited violence of any kind, condemning it instead.
Never mind that out of many tens of thousands of peaceful protesters over the course of months of election integrity protests, only a couple hundred were responsible for the violence at the Capitol building.
Never mind that Democratic lawmakers have encouraged and supported violence by both BLM and Antifa for months.
Apparently, we’re supposed to disregard all that and let “The Squad” literally purge our government of their political opponents, the Republicans.
