Joe Biden either had a mental lapse or made a bad joke about how long he has been in politics. Watch this clip of Joe Biden talking about how long he has been working closely with mayors.

From the New York Post:
The Democratic presidential contender and former vice president made the odd statement during a live address to the US Conference of Mayors that was being broadcast in real time on C-SPAN.
Biden began by praising mayors for taking care of Americans’ practical day-to-day needs, and for being on the front lines during fires, floods, health emergencies and school shootings.
“That’s why I’ve made it a priority my entire career to work closely with you,” he said with a smile, “from the time I got to the Senate 180 years ago,” he added, giving a short chuckle.
Well, yes, it FEELS like Biden has been in the Senate of 180 years. We can all agree on that. But, what do you think? Joke or brain fart? I’m 100% voting brain fart. Sure he chuckled, but that’s only because it already slipped out and he realized it.
Either way, Biden was in the Senate 37 years and VP for 8 years and still managed to accomplish nothing noteworthy.
This wasn’t Biden’s only flub of the day. He also lost his train of thought in an interview with MSNBC’s Stephanie Ruhle.
“For example, the Paycheck Protection Act, you know, one percent of the money’s gone out,” Biden claimed. “One percent. One percent of the, uh, the—that’s not the Paycheck, the, the, the, um, uh, the, uh, the bill for small, for major, for small businesses—”
“Mainstream lending,” Ruhle interjected.
“Mainstream lending, one percent’s gone out,” Biden continued.

Jill Biden and the whole Democratic Party should be ashamed of themselves for putting this man forth as their candidate. He does not have the mental sharpness that he once had…and he was never that sharp to begin with!
The debate Tuesday is going to be SO FUN!
