If you take the time to read the comments on this Twitter thread, you’ll find a multitude of women suggesting that abortion is never celebrated.
However, if anyone took the time to read the COTR article earlier today about the girl who excitedly shared her abortion on TikTok, ‘celebration’ can certainly be the case.
Good for Yang for speaking up on this atrocity.
As The Blaze reported:
Democratic presidential candidate Andrew Yang is being criticized by abortion advocates for making a statement that would have been incredibly wholly noncontroversial in a past version of the American political scene: That the willful taking of unborn life is not something that ought to be celebrated.
The opposers were quick to criticize Yang, suggesting he was spewing ‘right-wing slander’ and didn’t support a woman’s right to choose.
I’ve said it before, and I’ll say it again – the choice begins BEFORE conception (aside from the marginal cases of incest and rape, of course).
I saw a tweet that even suggested Yang was supporting the ‘forced birth movement.’
What happened to the sanctity of life, taking responsibility for your actions, and being adult enough to understand the ramifications of those actions?

These tweets make my heart hurt –
Lastly, if you want to celebrate your abortion, you go right ahead. That’s your choice. That’s your body. That’s your right. That’s your life. No one gets to make that choice for you and if you feel it’s worth celebrating, CELEBRATE IT.

The real tragedy is the life that was lost due to the selfishness of the life making the ill preceding decisions.
Andrew Yang beautifully articulated, “I think that celebrating children, family, like these are universal human values and if we manage to lead on that and say that we also stand for women’s reproductive rights, I believe we can bring Americans closer together on a really, really important personal issue.”
Side note – My comments exclude those who have faced the unfortunate news that an abortion was MEDICALLY necessary, due to health complications.
