January 5, 2019Demi Lovato is one of those celebrities who has been pretty transparent about her troubles and insecurities. One of those insecurities has been her body image. She used to battle with anorexia, and she continues to be very passionate about those issues.
The other day, she saw an ad on Instagram that tweaked her, and she went off.
The ad showed two animated women next to each other. One said “obese” and the other said “pretty.” Lovato went off.
Instagram has responded. It pulled the ad.
“We’re sorry. This ad was approved by mistake,” a rep for Instagram told TMZ. “We reviewed it again and removed it from future delivery in people’s feeds.”
Good move by Instagram?
TBH, I wouldn’t have noticed the ad. I skip right over those bad boys– especially the weird gaming ones.
