Dear LORD, I hate politicians.
Why?
Many members of the Senate and House seem absolutely outraged that they would be required to work on December 20 and perhaps December 21.

HOW AWFUL.
Note: that’s Thursday and Friday of the week BEFORE Christmas. How many NORMAL people got these two days off? I DON’T KNOW ONE.
Think I’m going to cry, but then, they could be off if they had just taken care of their job any time over the course of the last 5 decades. Stop whining and #FundTheWall

Arrogant, lazy wastes of air

I have worked every Christmas for the last 10 years…Do your damn jobs…Build the wall

Anyone who feels sorry for these people is a fool. Most people are happy if they get off on the 24th and even luckier if the 26th is a free day too. But god forbid the people elected to represent the country have to do a job like a regular person. 🙄

175k a year & federal benefits for a part time job they get no sympathy
— k.adams (@kadams190) December 20, 2018
Nope. I have no EFFS to give.
I have to work the 21st, and the 24th. I also have the work the 26th, 27th, and 28th.

JOIN THE FREAKING CLUB.
Nothing infuriates a high-level government official more than being treated like a normal person.
— Blake Laytham (@blake_laytham) December 20, 2018
Because they’re NOT normal.
They’re way, way worse.
