As you probably know, the White House has stripped CNN’s biggest blowhard of his media pass.
They’re claiming his treatment of their intern was the deciding factor:
We stand by our decision to revoke this individual’s hard pass. We will not tolerate the inappropriate behavior clearly documented in this video. pic.twitter.com/T8X1Ng912y
— Sarah Sanders (@PressSec) November 8, 2018
Well…CNN is now claiming the White House “doctored” the Acosta video, as they play it in slow-motion and zoomed in on Acosta’s hand.
Um… how is that DOCTORING? Things that happen in slow motion ALSO happened in real life. You know – just quicker.
CNN is claiming this is fake…bc it’s zoomed in
Can’t make this stuff up https://t.co/tqwcPq55FX
— Jack Posobiec 🇺🇸 (@JackPosobiec) November 8, 2018
YES. SEROUSLY:
Well this is not complicated. @PressSec has patently misrepresented what happened here. White House aide aggressively tries to take the mic from @Acosta and he never lays a hand on her. The truth still matters. https://t.co/MsWwlTGTd2
— Michael Barbaro (@mikiebarb) November 8, 2018
DOES IT THOUGH, MICHAEL?!
This video is doctored. It’s slowed down and then sped up at the moment Acosta’s hand comes down to make it look like he’s doing a karate chop or something. This is shameful propaganda. It’s Orwellian. https://t.co/in8m3iHn18
— Dana Schwartz (@DanaSchwartzzz) November 8, 2018
Sarah Huckabee Sanders should resign over this video.
— Dana Schwartz (@DanaSchwartzzz) November 8, 2018
ARE YOU KIDDING ME!?
Absolutely shameful, @PressSec. You released a doctored video – actual fake news. History will not be kind to you. https://t.co/v1w9Lj9TlK
— Matt Dornic (@mdornic) November 8, 2018
1) Took @PressSec Sarah Sanders’ video of briefing
2) Tinted red and made transparent over CSPAN video
3) Red motion is when they doctored video speed
4) Sped up to make Jim Acosta’s motion look like a chop
5) I’ve edited video for 15+ years
6) The White House doctored it pic.twitter.com/q6arkYSx0V— Rafael Shimunov 🔥 (@rafaelshimunov) November 8, 2018
The White House is sharing a doctored video. Thread: https://t.co/LeBhyVRsJZ

Paul Joseph Watson has responded, as he put together the original cut.
THREAD.
The mainstream media is trying to distract from Acosta’s behavior by claiming I “sped up” or “distorted” the footage that was later posted by Sarah Sanders of Acosta overpowering a woman who tried to retrieve a mic.
This is complete bunk. I did not.
— Paul Joseph Watson (@PrisonPlanet) November 8, 2018
The clip is not “doctored” or “sped up”. As you can see from the original editing track in Sony Vegas Pro, none of the individual tracks are “sped up”. A track that is sped up would show wavy lines in the original track field, which it doesn’t. pic.twitter.com/ECt3mfhwh5
— Paul Joseph Watson (@PrisonPlanet) November 8, 2018
The only editing done to this clip is that it is zoomed in. The speed has not been altered from the original clip posted by the Daily Wire. https://t.co/18HYN1KekZ
— Paul Joseph Watson (@PrisonPlanet) November 8, 2018
Original video footage of the full encounter also proves that the footage is not “sped up”. If anything, this clip makes Acosta’s behavior look worse. https://t.co/3H9rYaA7G8
— Paul Joseph Watson (@PrisonPlanet) November 8, 2018
While Acosta did not assault the woman, the White House is perfectly correct in asserting that he placed his hands on the female staffer. Acosta clearly used his strength to push down on the woman’s arm and overpower her so he could keep the mic.
— Paul Joseph Watson (@PrisonPlanet) November 8, 2018
Efforts by the media to invent conspiracy theories about doctored footage are a transparent effort to distract from Acosta’s behavior and shield him from criticism.
— Paul Joseph Watson (@PrisonPlanet) November 8, 2018
In addition, none of the media outlets claiming I “doctored” the footage even reached out to me for comment before publishing their hit pieces.
This kind of crap is why people don’t trust the mainstream media.
— Paul Joseph Watson (@PrisonPlanet) November 8, 2018
The final irony is that while I’m constantly accused of being a “conspiracy theorist” (despite the fact that I loathe most conspiracy theories), the media invented a giant conspiracy theory to distract from a real controversy.
— Paul Joseph Watson (@PrisonPlanet) November 8, 2018
I would say I am looking forward to all the media outlets who smeared me issuing retractions, but I know that will never happen.
— Paul Joseph Watson (@PrisonPlanet) November 8, 2018
This video proves my case. https://t.co/drtuIOKUYA
— Paul Joseph Watson (@PrisonPlanet) November 8, 2018
It does. This is absolute INSANITY. The fact that these blowhards would bend over backward like this to defend Acosta’s actions is absolutely MINDBLOWING.
“DON’T BELIEVE YOUR EYES. IT’S NOT A REAL VIDEO.” Holy mother of GASLIGHTING.
Well…Sarah has doubled down. And they’re FREAKING over that now, too.
“The question is: did the reporter make contact or not? The video is clear, he did. We stand by our statement.”
HE CLEARLY DID.
New statement from Sarah Sanders re: Jim Acosta is clearly moving the goalposts: “The question is: did the reporter make contact or not? The video is clear, he did. We stand by our statement.”
Sanders initially said Acosta put “his hands on” the intern. He didn’t.

AS THEY SHOULD BECAUSE THEY’RE RIGHT.
The White House and @PressSec are standing by their lie: "The question is: did the reporter make contact or not? The video is clear, he did. We stand by our statement.”
— Philip Crowther (@PhilipinDC) November 8, 2018
“Are standing by their lie.”
THESE PEOPLE ARE MENTALLY ILL.
