It Sounds Like Christine Blasey Ford Is Looking For Another Excuse Not To Testify

Christine Blasey Ford has been in control of the narrative, and it’s completely stupid. Anyone with more than two functioning brain cells can tell that this is nothing more than a baseless smear campaign. When I heard that Ford’s legal team originally demanded that she testify after Kavanaugh, I laughed. That’s SOOOOOOO NOT HOW THIS WORKS.

As you’ve probably heard, Ford’s team eventually agreed to an open hearing on Thursday Sept 27 at 10:00 am.

In preparation for the hearing, Republicans hired “an experienced sex-crimes prosecutor to serve as an investigative staff counsel.” They say they want to ditch the partisan games and get to the bottom of this. So, a “sex-crimes prosecutor” it is.

Grassley's goal, per committee staffer, is "to de-politicize this process and search for the truth – instead of creating a forum for senators to grandstand or launch their presidential campaigns."

Look at her team, STILL trying to call the shots. This is ridiculous. Who does Ford think she is?

I honestly wouldn’t be surprised if she uses this as a way to get out of testifying. She’ll be all, “Well I was GOING to, but Senate Republicans lied to me and are treating me like a criminal” and yada yada yada.

She doesn’t want to testify. Let’s be real here. She’s looking for a way out.
