I’ve often heard complaints of “whitewashing” from the SJW crowd.
You know. Beyonce looks lighter-skinned on a magazine cover than she does in real life, or movie producers used a “light-skinned” black woman to play the role of a “dark-skinned” woman.
I’ve heard these complaints. They’re noted. Some of them may even be WARRANTED. I spent some time in Western Africa a few years back, and was saddened to see how popular skin-bleaching creams were. EVERYONE wanted lighter skin.
All skin colors are beautiful. There’s no need to lighten them.
There’s no need to DARKEN them, either. But at a time when skin color seems to be the MOST important thing in the SJW universe… does this REALLY come as a surprise?
According to Daily Wire:
Emile-Cohl drawing school in Lyon, France, is getting blasted on Twitter for “blackwashing” a photo to promote “diversity,” but the school says it’s not their fault.
According to The Local France and The Inqusitir, the school worked with a U.S. ad agency to create the promo photo to advertise here in the states for a new Los Angeles branch.
FFS. There was nothing wrong with the original picture. This is messed up.

WELL… this just turned into an awkward game of “spot the difference!”
Here’s the original:

Here’s the totally subtle, not at all awful “After”

Yes… it’s a slightly different shot. They were obviously taken at the same time.
Anyway…Some students were darkened…
Others were apparently ENTIRELY REPLACED.
Claaaaassy.
I mean… LOOK AT THIS:

BAHAHAHAAHAHA.
WHAT IN THE FRESH HELL?
The school is entirely shifting the blame:
The Lyon news site Rue89 initially broke the story, which prompted a spokesman from the school to say they had no “intention to manipulate reality” and denied all accusations of “blackwashing” to promote diversity.
“According to the spokesman, these ‘coarse’ touch-ups were made by a communications agency responsible for producing the promotional website for the new US branch of the Lyon art school which is set to open ‘within two years,'” reports The Local France. “The advert for the school was part of a bid to find funding for the school from animation studios run [in] the US.”
The school has now broken its contract with the U.S. publicity agency.
I don’t know if this is horrifying… or hilarious.
I mean. That picture of the kid with the fro is kinda hilarious either way.
