THIS Photo Got A Pro-Trump Ferry Captain Suspended

Trump supporters are sick and tired of keeping their mouths shut about it. Many are just ITCHING to let the world know they stand by their President – and will do so again come 2020.

Of course, I’m ALL for it. But we DO have to remember there are certain times where that juuuust might not be appropriate.

This miiiight one of them.

A ferry captain has a member of his crew have been suspended after hoisting a Trump 2020 flag on their ferry. The problem? The ferry is state-run.

…and someone totally snitched on them:

According to the AP:
A passenger on the MV Frisco ferry took a picture of the “Trump 2020” flag flying below the U.S. flag and even with the North Carolina flag last month and posted it to social media.

So do I LOVE the flag? Yup. I sure do. I’m totally with the captain. TRUMP 2020!

Do I get why it might not have been the best idea? Sure…

I mean, I’d be pretty annoyed if the ferry was flying a Cory Booker 2020 flag, you know? The captain and his crew members should TOTALLY wave their Trump flag…on their own time.

Ferry Division spokesman Tim Hass told media outlets that putting campaign material on a state-owned vessel is not appropriate. He did not release the names of the employees suspended for a week.

A week? It could be much worse. They’ll be back soon!

Hass says the flag was only up for one run on the Outer Banks ferry.

He also says this is NOT a “Trump issue.”

“No matter the political viewpoint, any sort of campaign material on a state ferry is in violation of policy,” Hass told the press.

Fair enough. I’ll TRUST the penalties would be similar for anyone flying the opposing flag…

Of course, the TDS crowd is LOSING IT. They always are.

Given the history of things tanking with Trump’s name attached, putting in a boat is shear stupidity.
