Once upon a time, Candace Cameron Bure was a co-host on “The View.” I still can’t believe that happened, because she’s SO NICE. I’ve been following her for years. I grew up watching “Full House,” and I’m ALL about the nostalgic cheesiness of “Fuller House.” I follow her on the ‘gram, watch her IG stories and admire her workout routines from afar. (Step one: Get a personal trainer. Step two: Listen to the trainer you acquired in step one.)
Another HUGE thing about Candace Cameron Bure? She’s a conservative Christian, and she doesn’t keep it under wraps. That’s why it was so cool to see her at “The View” table. Especially in this shirt.
She accomplished a lot on the show. She defended her pro-life stance and her Christian morals regularly. One time, she– in the nicest way possible– called out her co-hosts for mocking people who choose to be virgins until marriage.
“This is really about a relationship between them and wanting to honor God,” Bure said.
Beautifully stated. That’s all it comes down to.
Her time on “The View” was short-lived. She ultimately left because her life was too crazy, traveling back and forth. Especially with filming “Fuller House.”
“It wasn’t an easy decision, but before I started “The View” I had already had my commitments to “Fuller House” and my work with the Hallmark Channel and Hallmark Movies and Mysteries. And because of the success of those, my commitments have become even greater with those shows,” she said at the time.
“The commute of going West Coast to East Coast every single week for me has been tough on me and hard for my family as well, and I want to make sure that I’m able to spend at much time with my children and invest in all the projects that I do to the fullest extent,” she continued.
She was always nothing but gracious. She was SO NICE on the show, but these days, she has some tips for ’em. She’d like to see another conservative at the table.
“It’s definitely less stressful not commuting back and forth every week to ‘The View,’” she told Fox News. “I watch it now and then because I am actually at work during the time that it’s on, so sometimes I’ll catch clips on Facebook or something, but I read the news. I am so happy for Sara [Haines] that she has her own slot with Michael [Strahan] now on ‘GMA.’ That’s fantastic. And Paula [Faris] is moving on as well. So I am curious to see who fills that conservative seat.”
“I really hope that it is a conservative seat because I think it will balance out that table,” she added. “They need more than one conservative so I really hope it’s a conservative.”
I agree. I mean, it’s their show and they can do what they want, but it’d be nice to see them at least TRY to even it up a little bit. The 4-1 thing is a bit much.
