July 11, 2018Police are currently searching for the suspects involved in a racist attack on a 91-year-old man (he turns 92 in September).
According to the report, Rodolfo Rodriguez went for a stroll in his Los Angeles neighborhood on July 4th. A neighbor said Rodriguez tried to walk past a mother and her child and accidentally bumped into the kid. That neighbor, Misbel Borjas, said the woman responded by bashing a brick in his face and screaming, “Go back to your country!”
Rodriguez was born in Mexico and is a permanent resident of the United States.
Rodriguez, who was born in Mexico and is a permanent resident of the United States, told reporters that the woman enlisted a group of men to join the attack. She allegedly told them Rodriguez was trying to snatch her daughter from her.
“But that’s not true,” Rodriguez told CNN in Spanish this week. “In the years I have been alive, I have never offended anyone.”
The men, whose relationship to the woman is unknown, kicked Rodriguez while he lay “crumpled on the ground and stomped on his head,” Borjas told the Post. The group fled before police arrived.
Video filmed by Borjas in the immediate aftermath of the alleged attack shows Rodriguez sitting on the ground, his face covered with blood. He suffered a broken jaw and cheekbones, two broken ribs and bruises on his face and torso, his family said.
“I can’t walk anymore,” Rodriguez told CNN, tears streaming down his badly bruised cheeks. “I’m in so much pain.”

Police are searching for the woman and “possibly three to four men” involved in the attack. Here’s a picture of his alleged attacker.

So the black woman is a white supremacist now? Interesting.
“We are concerned, especially with the type of crime they committed,” Los Angeles Sheriff’s Deputy D’Angelo Robinson told KTLA-TV of the suspects.
“There was what appears to be a 4-year-old child there who witnessed the entire thing,” Robinson added. “We can’t have these kinds of people like that out in the streets.”
Rodriguez’s family set up a Go Fund Me, and they’ve already raised $261,543.
I hope the police track down the scumbags who did this. This precious man deserves justice.
