Democrat Intern Who Yelled, “F*ck You” At President Trump Has Been ‘Disciplined.’

This is pathetic.

According to that sourcelink, the imbecile who yelled an expletive at Donald Trump while he walked through the Capitol building last week has been identified as 21 year old Caitlin Marriott, who interns for New Hampshire Democrat Senator Maggie Hassan. And as a result of her outburst, she has been terminated.

Just kidding. She got suspended for a week and is working in a different building now.

That’s it. That’s the extent of the consequences of her actions.

I don’t know about you all, but to me, that’s absolute insanity. The whole purpose of serving as an intern for a member of Congress is to prove that you’re mature enough and smart enough and able to behave appropriately in the political world of DC. There’s not a whole lot required of you except to shuffle paper and make copies and run errands and stuff envelopes for whatever member of Congress you’re assigned to. And if you can’t manage to walk through the US Capitol building without firing off an f-bomb at the POTUS? Sorry – you’re not qualified to be an intern. You’re literally too stupid to have the privilege of that job, and you should be fired.

But nope. Maggie Hassan is a Democrat, so obviously a slap on the wrist is all she thinks Caitlin needs.

Director of communications for Hassan, Aaron Jacobs, spoke about the matter in a statement to The Hill.

‘We are aware of the situation and have taken disciplinary action, including a one-week suspension and revoking her Congressional intern ID badge,’ Jacobs said.

Her Capitol access is now restricted ‘in response to her breach of office policies regarding respectful and appropriate conduct. We also facilitated contact with Capitol Police.’

Last week, US Capitol Police last week issued a ‘global look out’ for a woman with ‘an intern badge’ with dirty blonde hair and blue-checkered pants.

A Reuters reporter heard it broadcast over police radios. The woman was identified to the public this week.

Is DC seriously that hard-up for interns that they can’t replace this moron with someone who can comport herself with a modicum of maturity? She’s an INTERN. Fire her, and get someone who can act like an adult.

Then again, based on the behavior of Maxine Waters this week, I suppose Caitlin is following the example given by other Democrats.
